For the past 20 years I have made it my business to understand and define the depth of the worldwide shifts taking place. In part this entails bringing my experiential and educational knowledge of the ‘old ways’ into the light that information technology sheds. As I continue to interpret the happenings in an expanding post-millennium thought paradigm, I also trace their origins.
Having served the insurance industry since 1992 in a variety of employee, and management consulting roles doing major technology overhauls and preparing for restructures, IFRS 17 it captured my interest as a major turning point for the industry. One that I recognized immediately but one that many people might struggle to understand.
Ultimately, my goal is to frame the IFRS 17 and beyond changes for constructive executive dialogue, and for communication to a large body of corporate employees, by providing constructs distilled enough to be accessible, practical, and immediately actionable.
Having spent the first 25 years of my career as a computer and information technology professional, implementing every leading edge business technology that came along, my experience with the dramatic effects new technology has upon people and jobs is deep and wide. After a decade as a management consultant in leadership roles to elevate technology governance practices and bring about radical organizational change, I returned to my first love – understanding the psychological and spiritual aspects of humanity. I am now able to offer a multi-facetted perspective as an advisor. An ability to understand at the deepest levels the effects of technology and radical change on people and companies, and express this understanding in actionable terms, methods, and tools.
